Govardhana Giridhara — The Bearer of Bliss 

เค—ोเคตเคฐ्เคงเคจ เค—िเคฐिเคงाเคฐเค—ोเคตिเคจ्เคฆเค—ोเค•ुเคฒเคชाเคฒเค•เคชเคฐเคฎाเคจเคจ्เคฆ! 
Govardhana Giridhara — you who lifted the mountain with ease, 
Govinda, protector of Gokula — embodiment of supreme bliss! 

Here, Govardhana is not merely a mountain. 
Go means wisdom; vardhana — that which nurtures and uplifts. 
Thus, Govardhana is the path of Dharma, 
and Kแน›แนฃแน‡a — the one who upholds spiritual wisdom, 
bearing the burden of righteousness lightly upon his divine finger. 

And Gokula — the gentle clan of seekers, 
pure as cows — serene, selfless, and giving. 
You, O Govinda, protect these soft-hearted sages and devotees, 
who graze upon truth and yield compassion as milk. 








เคถ्เคฐीเคตเคค्เคธाเค™्เค•िเคคเคถ्เคฐीเค•ौเคธ्เคคुเคญ เคงเคฐเคญाเคตเค• เคญเคฏเคนเคฐ เคชाเคนि เคฎुเค•ुเคจ्เคฆ! 
You who bear the ลšrฤซvatsa mark upon your chest, 
You who wear the radiant Kaustubha gem —  
O Mukunda, dispel the fears of those whose hearts dwell upon You! 

The ลšrฤซvatsa — that tender curl upon Kแน›แนฃแน‡a’s chest —  symbolizes the Anฤhata Chakra, the seat of compassion. There dwells Lakแนฃmฤซ, the Mother of Grace herself. The Kaustubha, gleaming at His heart, is the jewel of realization — the treasure of the spirit, the wealth beyond measure. 

He who carries the highest riches — beauty, wisdom, and mercy —  protects those whose minds are steeped in feeling and faith.  


เคชाเคŸिเคค เคธुเคฐ เคฐिเคชु เคชाเคฆเคช เคตृเคจ्เคฆ! 
เคชाเคตเคจ เคšเคฐिเคคเคชเคฐाเคฎृเคค เค•เคจ्เคฆ! 
You who have uprooted the forests of demonic foes, whose spotless deeds are sacred and whose essence is nectar itself! 

The Devas represent our luminous qualities —  clarity, serenity, discernment. 
Their foes — the Asuras — are but our own shadows: sloth, anger, greed. 
Kแน›แนฃแน‡a, with the flute of consciousness, 
clears these forests of inner darkness. 

He is the pulp of immortality (Amแน›ta-kanda) —  
sweet, tender, overflowing with divine juice —  
the fruit of eternity itself. 


เคจाเคŸ्เคฏ เคฐเคธोเคค्เค•เคŸ เคจाเคจाเคญเคฐเคฃ! 
เคจाเคฐाเคฏเคฃ เคคीเคฐ्เคฅाเคฐ्เคšिเคค เคšเคฐเคฃ! 
Adorned with countless jewels, You dance in overflowing ecstasy, Your lotus feet worshipped by Narayana Tirtha. 

The Lord is a cosmic dancer — each ornament a rhythm, each gesture a universe in motion. 
He moves not merely to delight, but to sustain the harmony of creation. No wonder the saint Narayana Tirtha, in awe, offered his compositions at those lotus feet. 


เค—ोเคตเคฐ्เคงเคจ เค—िเคฐिเคงाเคฐเค—ोเคตिเคจ्เคฆเค—ोเค•ुเคฒเคชाเคฒเค•เคชเคฐเคฎाเคจเคจ्เคฆ! 
O Bearer of Govardhana, 
Protector of Gokula, 
Ocean of Bliss — Paramฤnanda! 

He is both the holder of mountains and the melter of hearts, 
the dancer in our atoms and the silence in our souls. 
The poem ends in a crescendo of devotion —  
a cry of joy, a surrender in song, 
where philosophy dissolves into melody, 
and the devotee becomes one with the Beloved.
